“Hello” – 28 seconds of an unreleased song by an unmistakable singer could be seen on October 18th. heard in a TV spot on the BBC. And in the blogsphere it was immediately clear: That can only be Adele, that’s the new single! Do you need to introduce Adele? With her second album “21” she set a whole series of pop-historical records. It was the best-selling album of 2011 and 2012, garnering Grammys, Brit Awards, Echoes and multiple platinum status. Adele has been number one on the music charts in more than 25 countries and has sold more than 30 million units to date. More important than these numbers, however, is the music with which Adele won over listeners between the ages of 7 and 77. All of the single releases found themselves at the top of the list in terms of airplay and touch their listeners anew every time. A good three years after her last public appearance at the Oscar Awards – which she was able to take home with her for her James Bond song “Skyfall” – the Londoner’s long-awaited third album is now being released: “25”.
